At the Simla there was fairly inactive forest known as Shayamala, where as in local name it is called for Kali. In the year 1822 a Scottish civil servant Charles Kennedy come there and built a summer home in Simla. So many others people come to wait at the pleasant place to take pleasure in there holidays.

When the Kalka- Simla railway line was set up in the year 1903,Then Simla was become the popular hill station. This city was even briefly the capital of Punjab until the map was redrawn.

Took away along 12km road or track along a ridge, Shimla looks like a balanced on the edge of sliding into the valley. A deeply depressed line of snow covered tops, which is clearly visible form the month of April to June and again from October to November. Many people come for enjoy their honeymoon and for vacation purpose in the seasons of the snow falls.
